Short bio/interests : I live in Orange, NSW, Australia which is three and a half hours drive inland from Sydney, Australia. I work in many differing regional and remote parts of Australia employed by the Australian Flexible learning Framework as a Senior Education Officer with the project NSW LearnScope. I'm a member of the TALO and the FLNW online groups

Questions posed of me:

What are the key words that define your experience networking with remote communities?

physical | isolation | cultural | Indigenous | bandwidth | network | localisation | Koorda | gudiya

How does it help you understand the Future of Learning in a Network World?

I think we still have a long way to go in our efforts to build capability with Indigenous communities using networked learning environments. To ensure that I truly honor the wishes of the cultural custodians of language and other cultural artefacts I work with I try to avoid atypical stereotypes that marketising culture and monetising contact.
